We are blessed on our trips to work with some of the most incredible medicine people in Peru. In the mountain portion of the trip this past January, we visited sacred sites, or huacas, and had ceremony with Don Sebastian, Don Adolpho, and Doña Berdardina and had the good fortune to receive guidance both in the literal and spiritual sense from the amazing coca leaf reader and guide, Adriel. Later in the trip when we got to the Amazon, we had the opportunity to participate in plant medicine ceremonies with the Maestro Ayahuasqero Elder Laulate Cumari and Jivaro Shaman, Don Ramon. We also had many exciting trips through the jungle with guides and medicinal plant experts, Esteban Urbano Mosquera and Lino Torres Salinas.
