 We are blessed on our trips to work with some of the most incredible medicine people in Peru. In the mountain portion of the trip this past January, we visited sacred sites, or huacas, and had ceremony with Don Sebastian, Don Adolpho, and Doña Berdardina and had the good fortune to receive guidance both in the literal and spiritual sense from the amazing coca leaf reader and guide, Adriel. Later in the trip when we got to the Amazon, we had the opportunity to participate in plant medicine ceremonies with the Maestro Ayahuasqero Elder Laulate Cumari and Jivaro Shaman, Don Ramon. We also had many exciting trips through the jungle with guides and medicinal plant experts, Esteban Urbano Mosquera and Lino Torres Salinas. The next trip scheduled to Peru is set to leave on Jan 27th and return Feb 10th. We will be flying into Lima to take a quick flight to Iquitos where our jungle guides will be waiting for us. A 3 hour bus ride followed by a 3 hour boat ride will put us at Wakani Lodge. In addition to the most amazing adventures you are likely to ever have, the stay at Wakani Lodge will incorporate many opportunities to participate in plant ceremonies and learn from the local shamans and guides about the many healing properties of jungle plants.
